Campaigns & Advocacy

Students are diverse. In addition to school, many of us work, have families, or have other obligations on campus or in our community. Part-time students face unique challenges accessing post-secondary education. As the central voice for part-time students, APUS lobbies on a local, provincial and national level on behalf of our members on issues such as:

  • Affordable, accessible and high quality education, childcare and transit
  • Increased financial support for part-time students
  • More evening course and service offerings
  • Increased part-time student representation in decision-making
  • Building a safer community
