An Ontario provincial election has been called for February 27th, 2025, and it’s important that, as students, we make our voices heard.
Students have been experiencing cuts and underfunding in our education and other public services we need, yet Premier Ford is wasting millions of public money on a snap election he didn’t have to call.
We’re organizing alongside the Canadian Federation of Students–Ontario to “Fight For Our Future”. We know that as students, we need a government that prioritizes our needs, by investing in our education and in services like public transit, and that prioritizes making housing affordable for students. We don’t need yet another government focused on the profits for corporations and developers.

How do I register and cast my vote
An Ontario provincial election has been called for February 27th, 2025, and it’s important that, as students, we make our voices heard in the election.
To be eligible to vote in the election, you must be:
- 18 years of age or older,
- a Canadian citizen, and
- a resident of Ontario
If you’re not registered to vote, you don’t know whether you are, or you’ve moved since the last election in 2022, here’s what you can do to make sure you’re registered.
You can confirm or update your name and home address for the electoral register at vreg.registertovoteon.ca. If you do so by February 17th, you will receive a voter information card in the mail with information about when and where to vote.
If you live in two places (e.g. one while attending school and another while not in school) you can choose which address you consider home when you register. This will determine where you vote. If you’re temporarily living outside of Ontario, you may be eligible to add yourself to the Register of Absentee Voters.
