Summer 2024
We want to make sure that you know about all the key dates coming up each term. The following dates apply to the Faculty of Arts & Science. Your Faculty’s dates may differ, so make sure to check for those if you’re not an A&S student!
- June 28th – President’s Day, University closed; no classes
- July 1st – Canada Day, University closed; no classes
- July 2nd – Classes begin in S courses and resume in Y courses
- July 3rd – Last day to submit a petition for F courses (including final assessments) and last day for instructors to accept late term work in F courses without needing to submit a petition to the Faculty.
- July 5th – Waitlists for S courses close at end of day
- July 8th – Last day to enrol in S courses
- July 9th – First day to select a Credit/No-Credit (CR/NCR) option for S courses
- July 22nd – Last day to drop Y courses
- July 29th – Last day to drop S courses
- August 5th – Civic holiday, university closed; no classes
- August 12th – Classes end in S and Y courses
- August 12th – Last day to add or remove a CR/NCR option and to request Late Withdrawal (LWD) from S and Y courses
- August 14th – Study day
- August 15th-23rd – Final exams in S and Y courses
- August 15th-30th – Deferred exam period used for students who missed a final exam in April 2024 or June 2024.
- August 30th – Last day to submit a petition in S and Y courses and last day for instructors to accept late term work in F courses without needing to submit a petition to the Faculty.
