Bursaries

APUS Bursaries
STATUS

***Applications are now open!

At the Association of Part-time Undergraduate Students (APUS), we know that being a student is expensive. That’s why your student union offers a range of cost-saving services all year long including our Bursary Program!

Part-time undergraduate students face systemic barriers while accessing post-secondary education due to ever-increasing tuition fees and housing costs, systemic underfunding of the post-secondary sector by the government, and the general cost-of-living crisis. The APUS Bursary Program supports part-time students to help fill in the gaps intentionally left and overlooked by the University and the government. APUS bursaries are available to part-time undergraduate students on all three campuses of the University of Toronto (UofT).

The following needs-based bursaries are available:

  • APUS General Student Bursary [$500]
  • APUS Access Student Bursary [$600]
  • APUS Black Student Bursary [$600]
  • APUS Indigenous Student Bursary [$600]
  • APUS Two-Spirit, Queer, Trans Student Bursary [$600]
  • Jovita Nagy Bursary (for UTM and UTSC students only) [$300]
  • Marija Hutchison Bursary (for students in Academic Bridging and Transitional Year Programme only) [$300]
